“He is committed to our transformation.
So, if this is what God’s up to, wouldn’t it make sense that we be more intentional in partnering with him in our transformation?”
Eldredge, John (2010-09-19). Walking with God: Talk to Him. Hear from Him. Really. (p. 28). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.
This quote from Eldredge is sticking with me from last week………
Perhaps because I have blown it a few too many times this week………..
Or
Perhaps because I am just lazy or in the flesh or preoccupied or don’t care or I’m stinkin selfish
But……..
Its certainly not because I am uneducated in the Truth!
I know and have seen a lot of stuff…………..
scripture, truth in practice, Holy people, God’s great blessings, supernatural experiences, supernaturalists, miracles, salvations,
Selfless love and sacrifice, Mercy and Kindness all at supernatural levels
But Still.………even after 38 years of knowing the Messiah
I am still not intentional in practicing Holiness and
Partnering with Him in My Transformation.
Intentional denotes Action…………..you gotta do something…..like……..
Walk by the Spirit (every minute) never stop….not a second…..
Eldredge knows my frustration…
“There are forces driving the way I live, reasons and compulsions written deep in my soul. I know where my pushing and striving come from. They come from unbelief, from some deep fear that it’s all up to me. Life is up to me. I’ve got to make as much headway as I can before the bottom drops out. Make hay while the sun shines ’cause it isn’t always going to shine and what’s that underlying dread? God is not just after behavior modification (as in, stop it), but real and deep and lasting change. And that brings me to another assumption that we must hold if we would walk with God—true holiness requires the healing of our souls.”

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and blameless before him.
In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,
–Ephesians 1: 3-5
It is clear that we are called to be Holy……..
But you can’t be Holy if you are not Whole……Wholeness comes with Healing…..”the Healing of your Soul”
I have a relative who is a Drug Addict……he needs to quit…
But I can’t say……”Quit the Coke” and he will magically quit!!
He needs Healing……….Soul Healing!
And so do you and so do I.
We all need Supernatural Intervention!
The Father has already been intentional from the “foundation of the world”………..
Are you Intentional???
